Hey! Wait don’t click the X button or the Back button. I’m here to tell you about my book. I was reading Down the Rabbit Hole. This is a very spooky, mysterious and active book. It is about a girl who left her shoes in this spooky house. She is trying to get her shoes back and goes through a bunch of adventures. Here is a quote, “As I walked into the house I heard a big thump upstairs, I thought it was weird because Katie lives alone.” I don’t want to give away the whole story so I’m going to let you chose if you want to read it or not. And please if you haven’t already please don’t push the BACK button or the X button. I’m going to start out with the characters. The main character is Ingrid she is a 13 year old girl who is very good at soccer and hates her math teacher. Her best friend is Mia which she is very short with blue eyes. Ingrid’s other friend Joey is a boy who has lost a bunch of weight and Ingrid likes him he also is very smart. His dad is Chief Strade, he is the head police of EchoFalls, and people think he is very uptight and mean but Ingrid doesn’t think so. Ty is Ingrid’s brother and he plays for the high school football team. I don’t think you find out Ingrid’s mom and dads name but if you do then I must have missed it but you do find out there what kind of car they have. Ingrid’s mom has a MTV and her dad has a TT. I don’t exactly know what TT means but Ingrid’s says it is a very nice car. Vincent Dunn is the leader of the play and also Ingrid’s mom’s client. Chloe is Ingrid’s worst enemy and she is very rich. Her dad Is Mr. Ferrand and that is Ingrid’s dad’s boss. Mrs. Groome is Ingrid’s math teacher who Ingrid hates. Grampy is Ingrid’s Grandpa who she loves and he teaches her how to drive a lawn mower and how to shut a gun. That’s all the characters I can think of but I bet there is a lot more. Oh wait I forgot one more person, Ingrid’s dog Nigel, she found him in the woods and he always hogs her bed. Ok I’m going to tell you a little about this book. This story is about a girl named Ingrid and she is at a dentist appointment at the begining of the story . She has soccer practice at 4:30 and it is 4:00 and her mom still is not there. Ingrid has really bad since in direction but she decides to run to practice. So she heads that way and she goes across a bridge that she does not remember a bridge but she keeps going. Finally she realizes that she is in the flats and that she is lost. A lady comes out of her house and invites her in to her house. Ingrid comes in and she decides to save time and she starts to put on her shoes but the lady says that she will call a cab. The lady took a puff of her cigarette and starts coughing. The lady goes up stairs and doesn’t come back down. Well finally the cab was there and the lady still had not come down, so Ingrid just said bye and thanks. It starts to rain on the way over to the soccer fields. As Ingrid walked onto the field know one was there. Ingrid’s mom shows up about 5min. later and tells Ingrid that her practice was cancelled. The next day the police found the lady whose name was Katie DEAD in her house. A few days later she realizes that she had left her shoes at Katie’s house. So know she is finding out who killed Katie and she is trying to get her cleats back. She goes through a bunch of adventures and she breaks a bunch of laws on the mission of going through all these adventures. She is doing all this while she is in the lead role of a play. There are a lot of settings but I will try and name them all. The main setting is probably at Ingrid’s house. Also she is sometimes at school on the week days. She goes to the town hall to talk to the mayor. Ingrid sometimes goes into the woods to just walk around. Oh and she goes to joeys house to see his invention for the fair. She went to two football games to watch her brother play. She goes to Wally’s which is a video store that she wants a movie from. And last but not least the places were she goes to audition for the play and she practices for the play. That’s all I can think of at this moment so don’t be mad at me if you find more. This book is very interesting. When I’m reading this book I feel like I can’t put the book down. I literally read this book until I fell asleep. I mean I LOVED this book it was amazing. I think you should read this book because it is very good. But if you’re not into reading interesting, scary, and adventures books than this isn’t the book for you. It was all these things.But if you did like it there is a next book, it is called Behind the Curtain. The author is very funny because he writes a thing at the end to tell you about the next book and he has a good since of humor. So I do recommend this book but I don’t know if you will like it if you don’t like reading these kinds of books.
